Episode description

In climbing, a false summit is a peak that appears to be the top but is actually lower than the true summit, which is still higher and farther away. In this episode, we explore the memorable Pittsburgh Penguins' 1988-89 season, in which they reached the second round of the playoffs but lost in a Game 7, setting the team back for another season before they finally became a true Stanley Cup contender.
