Luke Neese, racing for K.S Trenchco/Triangle Cycles/Total Control Suspension, competed at the Daytona Supercross last weekend, March 9, placing 21st overall in the 250 Main event which was his first this season. He is currently 32nd in the overall standings of the 205SX East.
In 2015, Cole Seely solidified his place among the top 450SX riders, notching his debut premier-class Supercross win as well as numerous podium appearances, finishing third in the final points standings and earning official Rookie of the Year honors. 2018 proved to be a challenge for Seely as he suffered a nearly career-ending crash at the Tampa Supercross, which sidelined him for the remainder of the year. Seely competed at the Daytona Supercross, finishing 13th.

The 2019 AMSOIL GNCC Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, season opener concluded Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Palatka, Florida with the 5th Annual Wild Boar GNCC. Three-time AMA National Enduro Champion, Steward Baylor, of Tely Energy Racing/ KTM was the first to cross the finish line following the grueling three-hour race. The next round will be this weekend, March 16-17, in Washington, Georgia.
Ryan Sipes made his return to supercross for the first time since 2013 at Daytona Supercross last weekend, March 9. Since then, Sipes has raced GNCC and select Lucas Oil Pro Motocross rounds—and even American Flat Track. After battling back from injury in 2018, Dean Wilson was able to finish in seventh place in the 2018 AMA Supercross standings in the 450SX Class. The 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Season saw Wilson finish in a career-best 4th in the overall standings. Wilson is currently sitting at sixth place in the Supercross standings, with seven top 10 finishes in through nine rounds.
It was recently announced that O’Hara would race in the 78th Daytona 200 with Floyd’s of Leadville Racing as title sponsor. Floyd’s of Leadville is a CBD recovery supplement company launched by former pro cyclist Floyd Landis. In 2018, he earned his United States Motorcycle Coaching association certificates of completion and started a one-on-one rider coaching program. Tyler also competed and won at the prestigious Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb in the lightweight Supermoto division.
Mike Skurkis raced the 2017 Baja 1000 and came in second place in the Ironman class, racing the entire distance solo. He also finished the 2016 Baja 1000 Ironman in fifth place.
Mike Alessi’s professional racing career began in 2004. Throughout his career he has finished in second place of the MX Lites class in 2006, and in the MX Class in 2007 and 2012. Alessi has spent the past few years racing in Canada in the Rockstar Triple Crown Championship in the Motorcross portion, finishing fifth overall in 2016 and fourth overall in 2017. He missed a portion of the series in 2018 due to injury and finished 12th overall. The eighth round Championship begins on June 1.

William Weinbach is a generation-z entrepreneur and has made an impact in both the sports world and entertainment industry. He is the CEO and on-airpersonnel of online media site, Cross Court TV, which specializes in all things tennis and holds over 800K followers on social media. David Goffin, Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Reggie Bush, and Hope Solo are among the hundreds Weinbach has interviewed. Weinbach currently resides in Southern California and is a nationally ranked USTA Tennis player.
Chris Ulrich, son of Roadracing World Magazine’s John Ulrich, announced his retirement from racing AMA/FIM MotoAmerica superbike competition in 2016 after a career in which he won two AMA Nationals, finished in the top five in points, and stood on the podium 10 times. He is also a four-time WERA National Endurance champion. Ulrich continues to work in motorcycle racing, but on the team management side with Team Hammer. He also works with Roadracing World Magazine as the Racing Editor.
Returning to Daytona for the first time since 2013, 2011 Daytona 200 winner Joe Disalvo is planning a return for the 78th Daytona 200 with Apex Yamaha, 11 years after last racing a Yamaha. DiSalvo is also an instructor for the Ducati Revs Ride University.
Cunningham came up with a 9th overall at the Detroit Supercross at Ford Field. Detroit was a three-moto format and Cunningham finished 8 in M1, 11 in M2 and 10 in M3 on his Honda CRF 250. He rides for HRT/Cherokee/Freedom/Merge Racing/Honda.
Mikey Rush rode the G&G Racing Yamaha FZ-07 for most of the 2018 American Flat Track season, and then stood in for the injured Brandon Robinson on the factory Harley-Davidson squad, and remained with the Harley-Davidson Factory team for the remainder of 2018. He finished the season in 16th place overall with a best finish of seventh at Buffalo Chip.
Wasson finished fourth overall in the Hare & Hound National Championship Series, and in 2017 signed to be Beta’s sole factory racer in the 2017 nationals in the pro class. Joe Wasson races in the National Hare and Hound & West Hare Scrambles and took home his first Pro win at the opening round of the 2019 West Hare Scramble Championship at Hangtown, CA, racing for Beta USA, Fly Racing, Kenda. He also came in third place in the second round on February 16 in Prescott, AZ.

Josh Hayes has won four AMA Superbike Championships in his career, in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014, and is second all-time with 61 AMA Superbike wins. In 2017 he finished in fourth place, with a first-place finish at Virginia International Raceway. In 2018, Hayes took on a new role as an Ambassador and Coach for the Yamaha Factory Racing Team. 2019 has seen Hayes participate in the International Island Classic and win race four. Hayes is also preparing for the Daytona 200 in March.

Carlen has been professional motocross racer for three years and he’s qualified for three 250 West Coast main events and four 450 main events. The 21-year-old is racing for BWR Honda and is making a name for himself in the competitive 450 class. In the two main events he has qualified this year, he finished 17th and 18th respectively. He will look to qualify for the main event at Round 7 February 16th in Arlington, Texas.
Evan Smith finished the 2018 GNCC season in fifth place overall in the XC2 250 Pro Class. After Team SRT Husqvarna finished up their final year of running a full-time professional race team in 2018, 2019 Saw Smith join Max Motorsports/ FXR Racing/ Husqvarna. Competing in the 2019 Kenda AMA National Enduro Series, Smith placed third in the first round at Sumter National Enduro in South Carolina.
