This episode is hosted by Coach Parker Andrews and Doctors of Physical Therapy, Danny Spaulding, and Jared Aguilar. In this episode, the team interviews Pro Beach Volleyballer, Katie Dickens regarding the impact that COVID-19 has had on her training for the upcoming AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. 

Katie shares how she is managing home workouts, nutrition, sleep, and maintaining her workout intensity during COVID. She also shares how she is using blood flow restriction training (BFR) to increase her strength even though she has limited gym equipment at home. 

Katie played Beach and Indoor volleyball for Louisiana State University where she held starting and leadership roles while earning a Masters in Sports Management.  She is currently competing on the professional beach circuit and her top finishes include a 5th place at the 2017 Long Beach NVL and a 9th place at the 2019 Austin AVP. Katie also serves as the director for Silver Beach Volleyball in Austin, Texas.
