Episode description

Black women are just ELITE, but I'm sure you already know that. As the sista-streak continues we get to discuss some very interesting black women experiences. Of course we have to recap the Emmy Winning night that came in all black with coco butta!! Sheryl Lee Ralph and Quinta Brunson made a historic moment, the awkward black girl phase is living and thriving babyy!! Black Ariel ain't never hurt nobody!! Touching on Hollywoods issue with representation, I strongly feel had Tyler Perry done this production thing would be.. DIFFERENT. No shade but we have to stop supporting companies that literally hate the black culture. A deeper topic really had me in my feels, and I need some honest feedback on it. The Woman King starring Viola Davis released recently and apparently it's another white wash film. Telling the history of the Dahomey tribe, huge portions of history were sugar coated, making the overall feel seem...well fake..
