Episode description

Libby Neder (NEED-er)  is a social scientist, former bartender, and photographer currently living in Houston, TX. She has photographed over 200 weddings in 22 states since shooting her first wedding in 2009. Before that, she earned her degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado, and received some very unfortunate photos from her own wedding, which inspired her to become a wedding photographer. Bartending and sociology inspired her to be insatiably curious about people and how most problems can be solved with great communication.

Libby has been in just about every crazy situation a photographer can find herself in, from dodging a streaking groomsman, to figuring out how to shoot a 15-page family photos list, to doing her part to smooth over just about every kind of disaster—and is beloved by her clients. She is currently developing a course (out this spring) to help photographers book more leads, get better behavior from clients, and create raving fans out of formerly average clients by teaching photographers her tested communication strategies and the reasons why they work.
