In this episode we'll explore the teaching of the Stoic philosophers. Stoicism was founded in Athens by Zeno of Citium in the early 3rd century BC. It had a profound influence on Roman culture, and through the writings of the Late Stoa philosophers, it has continued to influence Western thinking up to the present day.
