Nairobi Colon is a nonbinary art teacher at KIPP Whittier Middle School in Camden. One day, Colon realized they were tired of being called "miss," so they asked students to refer to them simply as "Teacher Robi," with pronouns they/them. The kids immediately embraced the name.
