Fire tears through vacant West Philly building

The KYW Newsradio All Local Saturday, June 7 (morning edition): Firefighters had to deal with a multi-alarm fire at a large abandoned building at 48th and Locust streets near West Philly High School Saturday morning. Philadelphia Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the vehicles in a hit-and-run crash involving a 3-year-old boy. At least two coyotes have been spotted this week approaching people walking their dogs in Wissahickon Valley Park. As state budget negotiations continue in Harrisburg, lawmakers from Philadelphia want to be sure there's enough funding for the nation's 250th anniversary celebrations.
