With more than a decade of experience as an educator and teacher leader, Desiree is overjoyed to serve as Assistant Principal of Seat Pleasant Elementary. A proud product of Prince George’s County Public Schools, Mrs. Early attended Glenarden Woods Elementary, Walker Mill Middle, and Laurel High School. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies, in Music Education, at Hampton University. She received her Administrator certification and is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, both from Towson University. Mrs. Early began her career as a Music teacher and developed as an instructional leader serving in the roles of Team Leader, School Test Coordinator, Instructional Lead Teacher, and Data Coach. Mrs. Early is passionate about developing teachers’ capacity while impacting student performance. She believes in doing whatever it takes to make sure each student receives the best quality education.
