7. Olly Alexander: Pride, Self-Destructive Behaviours & Disney Crushes

This week’s guest on the pod is Olly Alexander. You may know him from playing Ritchie Tozer in the Channel 4 series It’s A Sin, or maybe as the lead singer in the band Years & Years, or when he represented the UK in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.  

Olly has achieved so much in such a short space of time, but as this conversation shows, it wasn’t always that easy. He and Pete tackle the issue of identity, self-loathing and learning to accept and be proud of who you are – and the difficulties of the concept of pride in general.
