Episode description

Libby shares her story about having an eating disorder and how it's not what you'd think it is, nor look the way you would imagine or expect.  Libby confessed her anorexia publicly after sharing her progress pictures of her fitness journey, but this time she is doing it the healthy way.  We discuss the triggers and judgements that are sometimes attached to a health journey and progress reports and pictures.  We talk about losing control of our lives and health because of trying to hold on too tightly to control.  It's incredibly important to learn to feel and accept your feelings in order to move forward to accomplish your goals in a healthy and productive manner.  I've learned to use the word "buffering" as a tool to avoid our feelings or look for something else to distract us from what is really happening in our mind and body.   I'm offering a challenge to everyone to take notice of what your buffers are, what kinds of habits have you formed that prevent you from being the best version of yourself?  I'll share more on this topic on my IG sabrinaperspectivedetective If you have a story or perspective you would love to share feel free to reach out to me to discuss being on the show. Thanks!
