Luke 24

In Luke 24, Jesus reveals His resurrected self to His followers and disciples. They were frightened at first not realizing what was happening. Jesus pointed each of them to His Word. His Word brings comfort, confidence, strength, wisdom, and joy as well as literally everything we need to follow the lead of Jesus in our lives to His will for our lives. Jesus spent time with people because He wants us to experience Him. He wants us to know Him, experience His presence, and lead other to the joy of knowing and experiencing Him too. He wants everyone to receive the invitation to dine with Him at His Table. We are his messengers assigned with the task of handing out His invitation. He wants His Kingdom full and that means we cannot miss a single soul. Jesus is alive and He wants the whole world to both know and experience the power of this amazing truth.
