Jude

In Jude, who was a half brother of Jesus, wrote his letter to discuss the basics, like salvation. However, he found it necessary to encourage us to contend for the faith - to remain strong, stand firm, fight on our knees, know the Word of God, and keep the faith. The enemy doesn't care about our families, our health, our marriages, our jobs - he just wants our faith shook and tore away from Jesus. Evil exists in this temporary world, temptations surround us and distraction bombard us. The forces of this world wage war around us, wanting to keep us from trusting and walking in Jesus. We need to be intentional every day to put on our boxing gloves, and keep our faith in Jesus strong. Cling to Him with all your guts. Remain in the Word of God and grow in Him. Receive His fresh mercies every morning. Victory has been one, we fight against a defeated enemy. We just have cling to Jesus and keep going, keep moving forward in Him.
