Episode description

In Jeremiah 14 & 15, a famine has spread over the land due to the continual blatant sin. God's people are in a covenant relationship with God and God is faithful and true to His Word. They chose sin, so they would face the wrath of God and experience the punishment of sin in their lives. God gave them tons of time and warnings to turn to repent and turn back to Him but their time is quickly running out. They are sad they are suffering, but are not repenting. There's a whole lot of complaining, but no heart change. Because they refuse God, God will let them have their sin and the consequences that go with it which includes disease, war, starvation, and exile. Jeremiah's heart breaks for what breaks God's heart and he weeps over Jerusalem and their continual choice to choose sin over God.
