Episode description

In Hosea 12-14, God's people continually chase the wind of sin and false idols rather than the eternal security found in God. When judgment falls and time has run out, their false idols can do nothing for them. People beg for God's help in distress but then in their prosperity, they become proud and turn away from God forgetting all about Him. God pleads for people to turn to Him before it's too late. Revive means to bring new life and God desperately wants to pour out forgiveness, mercy, healing, and graceful new lives for all of us. Sin leads to death and Jesus leads to Life for all eternity. We can't clean up without Jesus. We can choose to reject God's love, He leaves it up to us to choose Him. He will love us unconditionally but will grieve over losing us. Salvation only comes by faith in Jesus through humbling ourselves and turning to Christ. He will revive our lives for all eternity if we let Him. God answers our prayers and cares for us. He is "like a tree that is always green" and if we let Him lead our lives, all our fruit will come from Him and it will be very very good - the very best.
