Episode description

In Acts 3, Peter and John were going to the Temple to pray. Pray and pursue, meditate on God's Word, and pray and pursue Jesus, that is what we are to do every single day. As Peter and John were going to pray together, they came across a man who had been lame by birth. He was healed by the power and authority of Jesus. The lame man is us. We are stuck outside the Beautiful Gate, separated from God by our sin. We are born unable to please the Lord and bankrupt before Him. We could have never paid the debt owed for our sin on our own. We need Jesus desperately, just like this lame man did. When this lame God received and surrendered to the power, healing, and grace of Jesus - he was instantly healed. Immediately. He didn't do anything or earn it. The healing and restoration was given by the Giver of Life - Jesus. He responded in worship - joyous, wholehearted worship - to the Lord. He was leaping and rejoicing and his life was forever changed, all because of Jesus and the amazingly overwhelming power of His precious Blood.
