Episode description

This is meant as a metaphor, but can be taken literally too!  Have you sat on the gynecological paper on a table and had the sensation of it sticking to your ass?

In this 'sode we're asking how we can improve the customer experience for our patients.  What are the small irritations?  How can we improve their overall satisfaction with our practice (whether we're a staff PT or an owner)?

These little things aren't so little - they matter!  Have you tried on your patient gown, sat on your table, called your own front desk?

In order to improve the customer experience we need to understand it.  Every aspect, from the moment they first encounter our brand until they walk out for the last time (and even beyond that)!

Your challenge this week: think about the businesses you love working with.  You probably have a few you're extremely loyal to....a mechanic, a hairdresser, a restaurant or bar, a dry cleaning service.  What makes them special?  What do you like about their process?  Is there anything you can use in your own practice?

So....what's that paper sticking to your ass cheeks in your current practice?  And how do we make it better?!
