Series 2, Episode 9: Grant Orchard

Having first gained notoriety for his short films and commercials, Grant Orchard is now also known as the creator of the BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning pre-school series ‘Hey Duggee’. In our interview he discusses the transition from shorts to series and goes into detail on the production process, time management and artistic compromise, when working in children’s television. We also discuss how the animation industry and our approach to film distribution has changed over time.
