October 22, 2023 - Pentecost 21

In today’s episode, Pastor Rod Hill is reflecting on his own baptism and the question of how to live as a responsible follower of Jesus. He tells the story of how Jesus was asked whether or not to pay taxes to the emperor, and how Jesus responded by saying "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and render unto God that which is God's."

Pastor Hill says that this question is still relevant today, and that we all need to think about how we can live our lives in a way that is both responsible to our government and to God. He doesn't give any easy answers, but he challenges us to think about this question for ourselves.
