All right, let's go out to Buffalo. We're joining us now on the Patriots postgame Show presented by a cyber reason Dietrich Wise after the fourteen ten win over the Bills, Dietrich, thank you so much for being on with me, Hardy and Mike Dosso and Paul Perillo. Congrats on the wind. No, we've got you now. Can you hear us a little bit? You sell far away? Well, we are in Foxborough. Yeah it is. It's so windy there that Yeah, it's even affecting the phone call. Well, you know it's windy when
you get a women Buffalo. I guess it's kind of hard for me hear you right now, but keep talking. No, we just wanted to say, yeah, congratulations, thanks for joining us. That was for for a crazy, wild game. It was really dramatic, really compelling, and we all agree. Just a great victory for you guys tonight. Thank you very much. Man, appreciate that. Teachers, How did you feel on the on the final drive there? It was a big stop for
you guys to seal the win. I know you almost had Josh there, you jumped a little short of him. Just what was the overall defensive mindset coming in to that last job man pretty much just stopping, stopping from from scoring, stopping from running around, and uh, if he does so, guard the receipt. So kind of well our mindster U was keeping in the pocket and stop the runs. So anytime they did that, uh, we had, we had our jockeying, our force, the stopping the running and the
hitting him. Anytime you through, teacher, I guess I'll just ask the obvious, just just how challenging was it to play, you know, even defensively in such an unconventional kind of a game. Well, what you mean unconventional or I don't know what you mean. I mean, I mean mostly running? Are you guys only attempted three passes the whole night? Obviously it was a field position game. Um, you know, when when the teams were going into that wind, it seemed like it changed the game plans a little bit.
How challenging what with the conditions, you know, it's it's always cold and winding and uh, Foxford. So we knew going to this game it was going to be a running heavy game. And that's kind of what we be playing for, practice for and prepared for. So we knew coming out I doesn't going to win the ball, and we had one job to do now is to stop the run and sports one of them to be one dimensional. Dietrich, I want you to back me up on my theory on that play that Mike mentioned where you almost had
Josh Allen toward the end. I say that you would have had him if the NFL would allow you guys to play football. But it looks like you're trying to reach him up. So you wouldn't go low on him because I right, you had to reach up, say I knew it. Yeah, So you settle it with yeah, I tell you what. The pressure was still on it, and you made it very uncomfortable for them tonight. Well definitely.
All right. So so teaching, if you can get me my my Arkansas pull over that you've been promising me for like three years, I'll make sure you get credit for a sack on that. I know. I haven't even been in the locker room in two years. I don't. I don't see you anymore. I miss you. Hey, uh, congrats on the wind tonight. Thanks for taking the time and save travels back. Thank you very much having light.
All right, take care. There's one that's one of the all time great great kids in that locker, and and to me, they're always kids this point. Yeah, when you you know, we're we're doubling up in age, Paul, you and I, and we can say that. A big thank you to Microsoft for getting the player on their forest, which I've always called him Dtrich. You said d Trick at the Okay, that's h is pronounced. Okay, I've always said it that way. I thought you that I misspoken. No,
