Let's uh speak with Devon Gotscha. I was joining us now from the locker room. I'm sure you guys went from being in follow moods to fantastic moods. Devon, congratulations on the wind. I appreciate it. It's feel so good, so good to uh, you know, always get a win in your division account as tools. You know, Jets have a really good team, have been playing really good big win against Buffalo, but it feels good to come out

with a winch that. Hey, Devon, I just gotta ask you, what what are things like right now for rookie Marcus Jones there in the locker room. I imagine you guys are all over him. Oh, he's been due. This guy, he's gonna he's gonna be special. He's gonna be very special about to staying up because he's been trying to push, but he's been dup for one. If you look at the games, he's been been due to break one. He's going to be special. He's very dynamic. You know. I'm

excited to see him over the years. Samon, what can you talk about the run defense? They obviously the Jets wanted to play it close to the vest and play field position and do all those kinds of conservative things. But you just wouldn't allow it all day. What was the key to your success up front? I guess you wanted to run the ball. They want to They ran the ball. They try to run the ball and make

easy completions. A get against Buffalo the Buffalo game the last time he played us uh, the quarterback through a couple of picks, So we knew they wanted to come out and run a ball. So you know, we want to come out and stop you know, like that's that's that's my job. That's a lot of guy's job and be you know, don't get all accolades and double teams and all that. You know, you don't see that on the specially, but when you watch the games and said, so we just want to come out and stop it all.

Do you have to guard against being impatient in a game like that when you're kind of waiting for something to happen, you're standing in the sidelines, you're waiting for your offense to kind of pull ahead. Do you have to be careful not to get overaggressive when you get back out of the field and try and get another stop. Yeah, it really didn't matter. I mean, we could have got one pick, it really didn't matter. Whatever. We would have got one field I mean I mentioned saying one field goal.

It didn't matter. We just know it's the score was tied three three. We wasn't allowed to let them score against the goal, so you know, kind of human let him like a cross the fifty yard line. Yeah, I was. Defense played pretty good today and they mostly ran the ball. We know they want to try to run the ball, so we know we had to stop running. So you know, that's why that's why they brought outs like me here devon,

what's what's now on? Tap? I mean, you got a quick turnaround to the Vikings in a few short days. I mean, how can you build with this energy just coming off the field with a big win like that, carry that into Thursday? Cook at four, I was just you know, clearly we're gonna watch it tomorrow. I'm actually gonna try to go home and watch some of the Minnesota game. Team is playing pretty high, playing pretty good. We gotta make sure we come out and start fast

on both all three phases. Uh. You know, they just seem to have a lot of confidence. They're playing out pretty good. I got a very good offense, very good with Steve's very good running mat So maybe want to make sure we come out and start fast. You know we're gonna watch this game. Get give the corrections that move on to better all right, Devon, like Deuce just said, he had a short week, so we'll let you go. Congratulations on the wind, all right, thank you, all right,

take care of there, he goes Devon. Gotcha who's defensive UNA did their job today holding the page, holding the jets too. I think one hundred and four hundred three. I think hundred four hundred and three yards of total offense. Just go for one hundred yards in total, fifty nine yards rushing two point six per carry. Zach Wilson was nine of twenty two for seventy seven yards. All right,

so there we go. We would like to thank Microsoft and Microsoft Surface specifically, the official sideline technology provider and laptop of the NFL and the New England Patriots, provides players and coaches with the tools to succeed both on and off the field.
