After getting released as a minor leaguer Steve Delabar did what most people do, went to work. Starting out as as substitute teacher and baseball coach he decided to try weighted balls on himself to try to help his players. He ended up gaining 10 mph, got signed again by an MLB team, and the rest his history. Made it to the big leagues and eventually became an All-Star.
