With over 40 years of coaching experience, it is an honor to have on a legend in this weeks episode, Mike Roberts. Mike and I met this past season in spring training when I was working for the Baltimore Orioles organization. I instantly felt a connection with Mike and enjoyed picking his brain on all of the intricacies in the game. He spent 23 years as the head coach at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. During the summer he is the head coach for the Cotuit Kettlers in the Cape Cod League. In this episode, we talk a lot about stealing bases, summer baseball, and scoring runs. Mike is well known throughout the country as being innovative when it comes to stealing bases. Mike's son, Brian, played 13 years in the MLB and used his Dad's methods to steal bases throughout his entire career.
