While popular teaching tells us that the non-believing religious leaders of Messiah's day "missed" Him because they clung too tightly to the Old Covenant, what does the Word say was the reason?

When we read the Gospels and see the common phrase, "it was 'unlawful' for them to do that on the Sabbath" we must be responsible students of the Word and ask, "according to what 'law'?"

Most importantly, what did Messiah Himself say was the reason that they could not receive Him? Do you know? Let's find out!
