Episode description

Newsflash: Stu thinks that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is correct.

-During a hearing on the appointment of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) to Attorney General, the Massachusetts senator was halted from reading a 1986 letter written by Coretta Scott King that criticized Sessions. The Republican means to shut her down was a previously obscure rule known as Rule 19, which basically states that any outright or implied criticism of another senator is prohibited in official discourse. Pat, Stu, and Jeff agree that such a rule must be done away with and that the Republicans made a huge mistake in invoking it against Warren.
