7/14/17 - Opioid Epidemic Flips Liberal Argument
Jul 14, 2017•8 min
Episode description
The opioid crisis continues to rage across America and it is often being compared to the crack cocaine epidemic that swept through New York and Los Angeles in the 1980s. However, the liberal narrative that urban Blacks and Hispanics are those harmed most by the distribution and consumption of these various drugs isn't holding up in regards to opioids. It's not urban minorities, but rather rural whites who have comprised the majority of incarcerations related to prescription painkiller abuse.
