He played for the Chile National Team for 11 seasons, is a three-time OUA East coach of the year award winner, former director of the Elite Beach Volleyball Club, OVA Technical Director, proud parent to friends of the show Melissa and Felipe Humana-Paredes.
Hernan is the author of Playing Under the Gun, a book detailing Hernan's playing experience in Chile under a brutal dictatorship before he choose to leave for Canada.
