Episode description

Note: This episode was originally published under our former podcast title. While the name has changed to “Parenting Through the Hard,” the heart of this conversation remains the same. Thanks for being part of the journey.

Down Grief Mountain with Mary Cranston

In part two of my interview with Mary Cranston, we begin looking ahead to the journey down the other side of Grief Mountain.

What can we expect to encounter as we continue to navigate this journey?

Understanding the grieving process gives us permission to accept where we are, to see more clearly the work we are meant to do in this season, and to wait expectantly, knowing that this too shall pass.

4:27  Depression

6:30  Re-Entry

7:45  What Holds Us Back From Getting Support

12:17 New Relationships

15:30 New Strengths

19:20 Overlooking the Physical Side of Grief

21:40 Hope/Affirmation

23:50 The Push and Pull of Moving On

26:00 Helping Others

Mary is a life coach, a counselor, a motivational speaker, and a published author who recently wrote the book Grief Mountain ( A practical guide in recovering from grief and loss). You can find the book here on Amazon.
