What We’re Watching: Nomadland and Veronica Mars “Spring Break Forever”

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, we watched a movie! We were both curious about Academy Award-winner Nomadland, and are pleased to have made the effort to watch it (free on Hulu, for rent elsewhere). It's a meditative, moving, compelling story, beautifully told. Next: Continuing our theme of "current, but not quite." we'll watch the Friends reunion on HBO Max.

Definitely less meditative and moving: Veronica Mars season 4, episode 1. We're back in Neptune! And so is Very Muscly Logan, Adorable New Dad Wallace, and Chronic Pain Keith, along with a new seasonal mystery: Who bombed the Sea Sprite Motel? Next: Episode 2, "Chino and the Man" (Terri hopes it will be about pants).
