#173: Refusal of Greetings & Unexpected Hitting

Of we want our children to be polite so what do we do when they refuse to greet a friend or acquaintance, even with hello or high 5? What is that about? Also how about a toddler who hits his peers out of excitement, just out of the blue? Why does this happen with thoughtful caring parents who give absolutely no exposure to such behaviors? Where does this come from?
