UNI Wrestling Panther Pep Talk: Bill Smith Goes to the Olympics

The only Olympic gold medal won in any sport by any Panther from UNI was donated to the wrestling program in 2018. At the age of 88, Iowa's oldest living gold medalist and former Panther wrestler Bill Smith chose for his medal to be placed in the West Gym where he had one of his two NCAA titles.
