Gremlins (1984), directed by Joe Dante and produced by Steven Spielberg, is a dark comedy-horror film that follows Billy Peltzer, who receives a mysterious creature called a Mogwai named Gizmo as a Christmas gift. Bound by strict rules—no bright light, no water, and no feeding after midnight—chaos ensues when the rules are broken, leading to the creation of mischievous and destructive Gremlins that wreak havoc on the small town of Kingston Falls. With the help of his girlfriend, Kate, Billy must stop the Gremlins and restore order.
