This month, our cover features the last editorial from long-time member of AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine and Caring’s regular columnist, Dr. Steven Levenson, who sadly passed away in January. Drs. Galik and Steinberg also discuss a workforce initiative known as the Teaching Nursing Home Collaborative, the importance of engaging caregivers in transitions, and Dr. Galik’s own recent experience as a caregiver for her aging parents.
