From the Late Pleistocene to Early Holocene, this 7-foot bovine roamed the Ice Age prairies and survived beyond its mammoth and wooly rhino companions, only to immediately get roped into human agriculture and butchered en masse for meat. Maybe the mammoths had the better deal.
