NextGen Podcast - Sofia Almeida

Today's guest is Sofia Almeida from New York. Sofia is a part of the Portuguese community in Queens, NY where she spends time volunteering whether it be to help organize events for the children and the community or assisting in the Portuguese school. Sofia has pioneered the NY Portuguese Pop-Up events for small businesses across New York State with the help of many amazing leaders from each Portuguese cultural center. During a majority of her day, she is a bilingual speech-language pathologist in a school in Queens, NY, where she is certified to provide services in Portuguese and Spanish.
