Episode description

Apparently sitting around Montecito gets boring after a while if you're not working on a Dog Biscuits and Jam company, a Netflix cooking show or a theoretical podcast in 2025.

Meanwhile, the King read the room and addressed the riots.

Calarogu Shark Media. Hello and welcome to Palace Intrigue. I'm Deep Crown filling in for Mark Francis today, who seems to have come down with a hum little bug. So King Charles obviously heard people complaining he hadn't addressed the riots. Charles has praised the community spirit and compassion that have emerged in response to the recent riots. According to Buckingham Palace.

A Palace spokesman conveyed the King's heartfelt thanks to the police and emergency services for all they are doing to restore peace in those areas that have been affected by violent disorder. In his message, the King acknowledged the aggression and criminality on display during the riots, but emphasized the

positive response from communities coming together. In a call for unity, King Charles expressed his hope that the shared values of mutual respect and understanding will continue to strengthen and unite the nation. Royal expert Tom Quinn tells The Mirror Harry is increasingly bored and looking back across the Atlantic, where most of his army and school friends still live and whom he never sees because they won't visit him in

the States because they find Megan difficult. They are finding it difficult to get through the days and weeks of not having much to do. Megan is hugely driven, but she can hardly blame him for not being a commercial whiz kid, as he has only ever been trained to be a royal. Harry doesn't really have very much to do on a day to day basis. After he's taken the dog for a walk and may be gone for

a drive, he has nothing to do other than support Megan. Megan, on the other hand, needs someone who has serious determination to succeed in the world. This has led to huge tensions. Royal expert Jenny Bond adds, I think we can say that it must be tough for Harry to have lost touch with virtually all his old circle of friends as well as his family, but we must assume that he feels that sacrifices were for the life he now has with the woman he loves and the children he adores.

Meghan Markel's launch of her Dog Biscuits and jam brand American Riviera Orchard has encountered a significant hurdle due to trademark issues. Reports indicate that the brand's trademark application submitted four months ago has been flagged by the U S Patents and Trademark's Office for irregularities that need to be corrected. These irregularities reportedly involve the incorrect classification of certain products

such as yoga blankets, picnic baskets, and recipe books. The Daily Mail reported that Meghan and Prince Harry's legal team have been informed of the issues and that the fees associated with these corrections could total around eleven thousand dollars. However, The Daily Express has clarified that receiving notices of irregularity and requests for clarifications is a standard part of the

international trademark filing process. All necessary fees have already been paid and no further action is currently required from Megan's side. While this setback has delayed the anticipated launch of ro, it seems the situation is under control and the brand's debut is still expected to proceed once the trademark issues are resolved, which is good because we like reporting important royal news such as Megan releasing a new picnic basket.

Prince William is reportedly furious that his brother Harry is set to receive a significant sum of money in the coming weeks. Sources claim that Harry is poised to inherit seven million pounds from a trust set up by their great great grandmother, the Queen Mother, upon turning forty on September fifteenth. Unlike William, who benefits from the Duchy of Cornwall wealth, Harry will receive a larger share of this inheritance.

A source told Closer, William's pretty disgusted that once again Harry's going to be cashing out and taking millions back to his Montecito home without lifting a finger for it. There's nothing he can do about it, aside from shaking his head. But if it were up to him, Harry would not be getting this payday. William doesn't think his brother is in any position to be getting this hand out, and he's letting it be known that he thinks it's

a pretty rotten situation. The idea that Harry's now cashing in on his great granny's inheritance leaves a very bitter taste in William and Kate's mouths. According to Closer, William believes that the inheritance essentially rewards Harry despite the terrible treatment he's shown them all, and that it is just wrong on so many levels. Some speculate the Queen Mother might have excluded Harry from the trust had she known

the future discord he would cause within the family. Prince William's relationship with Queen Camilla has evolved significantly over the years. According to royal expert Hillary Fordwitch, Initially, William had a difficult time accepting Camilla, partly due to the painful and public breakdown of his parents marriage. Fordwich revealed to Fox News Digital that William couldn't stand Camilla at first, but

has since come to appreciate her dedication to duty. Their bond has strengthened, particularly as they both supported their spouses through cancer treatments. Fordwich explained that Camilla has a calming influence on King Charles, a trait that William has come to value. However, according to Robert Jobson's book Catherine, Princess of Wales, Camilla has occasionally had to remind William of

the royal hierarchy. For instance, there was an incident where William and Kate delayed Charles and Camilla, prompting Camilla to insist that they leave without them, subtly reinforcing the importance of punctuality. And respect within the royal family more in

a moment. A woman who ordered copper wire from eBay was shocked to receive her parcel adorned with six collectible Princess Diana memorial stamps from nineteen ninety eight, each originally valued at twenty six p with the current cost of a first class stamp in the UK being one pound thirty five pence, the use of these older stamps was both unexpected and intriguing. The woman shared a photo of the parcel on Reddit, where others quickly chimed in with

similar experiences from the same cellar. Another buyer reported receiving a package covered in historical train stamps from the seventies and eighties. The Express dusted off a traditional Kate's Wonderful article with the added common relatable spin. They write, Royals, They're just like us, Kate. The Princess of Wales particularly has shown she isn't afraid to travel like the rest

of us. Last year, the Princess forty two was spotted taking an economy flight to Scotland with two of her children, while Prince William traveled with Prince George. A witness to such relatable behavior reported and yes, She was stunning, even gave me a smile while looking back at the row behind her to talk to her son. So, if you're ever sitting in thirty two F and you think you recognize the woman in the middle seat, it's probably Kate. And there you have it. Mark will be back tomorrow.

Maybe I'm deep crown my thanks to John McDermott. This is pallace, intrigue and good times.
