Episode description

In this episode we talk about an art heiress is arrested for selling work but never delivering the work. A painting of Mary is destroyed when someone tries to restore it without having any restoration knowledge. A former Magic the Gathering artist admits he was a sexual predator. A statue of Christopher Columbus in my city of Worcester was covered in red paint. Also there's a gigantic twenty four foot horse sculpture in Michigan that's a recreation of DaVinci's horse that does not exists anymore.

Other things we talked about were peanut butter and mayo sandwiches, trail cams and mini cameras, time-lapse videos, dogs in a bar, The Last of Us, Assassin's Creed, Strange Dreams Surreal Artist Collective's current online show, photo-shopping your dog as people, Amber Hurd, Grand Theft Auto V, Corpse Flowers and more.

The PaintingLoft Podcast is about the "Dark Art" community. Exhibitions, Artists, Techniques, Ideas, Scandals & Crimes and all the things worth talking about in the realm the two host participate in.

Jessica Perner and Scott Holloway are both artists exhibiting their work globally in the field of art that doesn't truly have a title but is widely accepted as "Dark Art".
