Episode description

In this episode, Liz and Adam talk with Lynne Greenberg, PhD, about her personal experience with pain. Her poignant memoir, The Body Broken, tracks her experience with pain from misdiagnosis and misunderstanding to connection and realization. Lynne teaches at Hunter College in New York City, where she specializes in 17th century British literature.

Lynne, Liz and Adam talk about her journey into the desert of pain and back out again, including some of the ways she now co-exists with pain, despair, and hope.
