A motorcycle accident took his leg, but Gareth McNeilly professes “I was lucky” given his on-bike decision to “Abandon Ship” and his friends quick first aid thinking led to saving his life that day. Pre accident he was a keen golfer, but having re-discovered golf post accident has opened up a different world for Gareth, now Team Captain for the victory is EDGA Golf Ireland Team who romped to the victory at this summers European Championships and he is keen to share the golfing world and bring more people with disabilities into the sport.
