In this episode of the Pacific Northwest Missing Persons Project Podcast, we explore the mysterious disappearance of Robert Bissell, a seasoned outdoorsman who vanished in the rugged Roaring River Wilderness on July 12th, 2010.
At 57 years old, Robert set out for a solo camping and fishing trip in the Rock Lakes Basin, near Middle Rock Lake, planning to return by July 16th but Robert never made it out of the woods.

As we delve into Robert’s story, we also address rumors surrounding his disappearance, including a strange Sasquatch sighting reported by fishermen in the same area just weeks earlier. While no evidence supports the connection, the disappearance of an experienced backcountry explorer like Robert continues to baffle both authorities and his family. Tune in to hear the full story and learn how you can help if you have any information.
