Episode description

Welcome to Episode 179 where we talk about the importance of making friends with healthy boundaries, and not be in a space where are secretly trying to get an outcome to happen.

In this episode talk about how to be assertive and have healthy communication in our relationships, we MUST do work on boundaries and loving detachment.  If not, we end up rescuing, controlling, and enmeshing, and avoiding the healthy risk of just asking for what we need and letting go of the outcome. Practicing staying in our lane and being courageous and emotionally honest is the best thing we can do for ourselves, and our relationships.

Key Elements:

  • Identify how you know it’s time to detach!
  • Process steps of detachment and boundary work.
  • Talk about how each of us has personal rights in every relationship.

“Speak boldly and with intellect.

Never hush your voice

 for someone’s comfort.

Speak your mind.”
