Episode description

Welcome to Episode 148 where we look at how important boundaries are if we want to change things in our life, especially our self-discipline.

In this episode we focus on an important aspect of self-love, and that is self-discipline.  Loving ourselves enough to say no to what isn’t working in our life and saying no to hurting our health, draining our energy, and sabotaging good things for ourselves.  Learning to practice boundaries and following through even on one change can be empowering and life changing.  Change takes courage and it means commitment to taking actual steps to say no to ourselves.

 Key Elements:

  • Identify the ways we can get clear and committed about our self-discipline.
  • Discuss why we may struggle to be more disciplined.
  • Process what some of the consequences might be if we don’t grab some structure for ourselves.

"The fact is discipline is only

 punishment when imposed

on you by someone else.

 When you discipline yourself,

 it's not punishment but

 empowerment."

– Les Brown.
