Episode description

Intro by anonymous A cappella singer man, recorded in a noisy kitchen leads to a conversation about artistic voice. Ya know that movie Wall-E? The little robot who runs around cleaning up "foreign contaminants" could erase the human element from your voice. Sarah n Phil challenge the notion of "Find your voice" and replace it with the evolving expression of a person, an actual human being.  "I'm not rapping anymore, I'm just talking," Phil.
"My daughter Sophie was a competitive gymnast and people would always ask her if she was going to the Olympics? They didn't understand that the only purpose of gymnastics was not to go to the Olympics, just like the only purpose of making art is not to write a best seller or have a number one album.  It is for personal development and understanding," Sarah.
