David Andelman most recently released a book pertaining to these type of situations and crises called A Red Line in the Sand: Diplomacy, Strategy, and the History of Wars That Might Still Happen.
His impressive career also encompasses the following : editor at the World Policy Journal, Washington Correspondent for NBC, Reporter and Bureau Chief for the New York Times in Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, Paris Correspondent CBS, Columnist for CNN, and a member on the Council of Foreign Affairs (a private think tank group).
