Janna Macik Episode 2 – Working With Those With Special Abilitie

Janna Macik continues her life learning experience in this second episode by sharing her experience of raising eight children, two of whom have different learning styles. Her daughter, Charalene, was born non-verbal and largely continues that way today. Janna’s and her husband learned to communicate with Charalene through sign language. Learning how to adapt to Charalene while learning sign language and a different communication method was a trying experience. With prayer and God’s wisdom, Janna and her husband devised a communication method with Charalene. Singing in her church choir has also become a special communication means for Charalene. Through God, everything is possible.
