This week, Béla talks with trumpeter, composer, and improvisor, Nick Calligeros.

Nick is part of composer/improvisor collectives Microfiche, We Will Intersect, and Soft Spot, and has also released two independent solo EPs. Over the course of his career he's garnered a deep musical CV with credits including working with Middle Kids, Tangents, Human Noise, Kim Churchill and legendary Sydney experimental group Alaska Orchestra, as well as with their founding member Meg Alice Clune.

With Soft Spot releasing it's self titled debut, he’s with us to share stories about his projects, and how music has intersected with his life and creative practice.
