Hi, guys. Myself was reading some of the texas that come to me and I read them, and there's a lot of people asking me about Patsy Conti, if there's a Patsy Conti story, So I thought I would tell one that I know. Patsy Conti was a captain in the Gambino family. In his true most of them were guys from Sicily, from Italy, off the boat type of people. We would call them the grease balls, but that's what they were, and they were under him in that crew. And
he was a very wealthy, very powerful guy. At one point he owned or he was one of the major players in key food stores. There were big supermarkets in New York. I don't know if they still around. I think he owned eighteen or nineteen of them. He would give Paul Castellano a fucking car for Christmas. A lot of guys will get annoyed because, I mean, how do you compare with the gift the guy comes in, he gives you a fucking Mercedes Benz and you're gonna come in with a small little
envelope or something. I mean, you know it's but that's what happened. A lot of people knew that he was also in the drug business in Italy. That's Sicilian mafia. It's literally okay, it's not against their rules to deal heroin to the United States. An old guy who was in Patsy County's crew, I found out later was the guy where this heroin was sent to him. They had pizza eas in different states in the United States and it
would come in as pizza sauce in these big cans. They'd opened those cans and there was a big of heroin in there, and then they would call people in New York. People would go down, pick it up, bring it in, and they'd get rid of this stuff. Word had it that Patsy County would give a package of money every once in a while to the boss, and I mean a satchel of money cash, and we talked about it a little bit. John Gotti talked about it before the Castellano hit.
Frank Nachico myself. Rumor goes around, no proof of it, but rumor had it. I don't know if he was bringing in a package of cash. There's big from Key Foods, but that's possible too. After the Castellano hit and we took over, drugs were against our rules. That's why John Gotti and everybody was in trouble. And when we took over, we wanted
to keep that room in place. We weren't about to kill somebody. If they did something with drugs or color, you're not allowed to take it, but they're not even allowed to deal it or be part of it in any way. And that's what had John in trouble. That's what actually caused a lot of investigation, indictments, and the downfall of Podcastler. That was one of the major reasons for it happened. So we took over. This was after now Frankie Chico was killed. He was underbuss. It was me and
John Gotti against the world. To replace Franki Nachico, we put in a guy, an old time captain named Joe Piney. This guy originally was arrested for the pizza connection case from heroin coming in from France to the United States to his crew. They got arrested for it. The whole family was shaking that Paul just got killed. Four months later, Frankie n Chico is killed. Looks like the war is breaking out and getting real serious. Everybody's getting
jittery. So John told me, I'm gonna put Piney in as the underbuster, replace Frankie. But it's me and you running the family because all the old times know him, they trust him. He's a kind old man. It'll settle everything down, I said. I agree. I agree. That's a good strategy. He said, But it's me and you, Sammy. There's a bunch of stories with me and Angelo and Joe Piney, and there's a bunch of stories with that. But I'll get to that at another time.
John calls me one day and Kati had come down to the club and we were running the family, and he says, go grab him and the old guy with the white hair. That was the guy who brought the arrow with it. So he says, we're not allowing drugs, even though John's whole fucking crew was in drugs, and that's another whole story. But tell them what they were doing while Paul was alive. They're not doing with us, with me, meaning John, give them a nod, tell them to
continue what was going on and bring him the packages. You want me too, okay, a heroin dealing. I want you to give him the message and if anything backfire is I could blame you say. It wasn't me, was Sammy. I made him stop. You're not gonna get right, But I have some way out of it that it's not me doing it, it's you. I get it, okay. So I said, listen, I was in the club. I went over to Patchy Cotte said, listen,
I need to talk to you outside. Let's take a walk. So the old man was sitting with him with the white hair was sitting with him too. I said, you too, get up, come outside with me. So the two of them walked outside with me and we took a walk around the block and I said, we know what you were doing with Paul, the money that you were bringing in. We know what you were doing. What do you mean, Sammy? You were bringing in packages of money,
That's what the fuck I mean. You were bringing it to him, but you're not bringing it to John. Why no, No, Sammy, I know what people think. We don't do that. All right. We're gonna investigate if you did it, and you're lying to us, not because you did it, not because you're going to continue doing it, but for lying to me. And I'll bring that line back to John. I think you're gonna get killed for that. Life. The old man who was a made guy but not a captain, and he said, could I say something?
He said it to Patsy Conty. Patsy says, go ahead, and he says, I'm the guy who brings it it. And we did make packages of money that went up, but we stopped at the end when he got in trouble because of John and Andrew with Girio's tapes, and we were told never to do it again. And you listened. Yes, I respect that. I respect that you're being honest. Here's what I'm telling you. Continue
doing what you were doing. I don't want to know about it. I don't want to talk about it. I'm not going to put up money for it. I want you to come with that package of money to me. Now, Patrick Conti butts in and says, what about John. Don't worry about John. Bring it to me. If you have a problem from the Commission or anyone, it's not John. You didn't give him a diamond. You gave it to me. That's my problem. Your problem is to not talk to John, don't ever bring it up, and don't bring him the
money. Bring it to me. You're out is me. Your problem is me if you don't do the right thing and you don't tell the truth, you're man. It's free and clear. He was honest. You started this conversation with a life. But I don't have a good memory. I forgot that lie already. I never heard what you said. You're just going to bring me money? Are we good? Absolutely grabbed my hand with both of
his hands and kissed me on both of my cheeks. Grease ball, SI, I get it, said, I understand the old man, same thing. Thank you so much? Good? So we go back. Did this conversation I shouldn't happen? Or was I how a dream? I don't think I had this dream, but I did say I have a little memory of this, But I don't think I remember this dream. Patsy Corti's got a smile from here there. The old man, Sammy, John picked someone in you. He made a great pick. What about Joe Piney and everybody else?
I turned around. Do you see Joe Piney? No? Then, what do you mean? What about Joe Piney? He's not in this conversation, is he know? I think he's a nice man. I think he's a good man. I think he's loyal to John he's over me, but I think he's loyal to me too. Do you want to talk more about Joe Pining? No? No, we understand, Okay, good, we love. One package came down a couple of weeks later. It wasn't I don't think it was as big as Paul's package. I think they did walk
away. Then I think they started again. It was a smaller package. He gave it to me. I have no idea till today how much was in it. I know there was money in it, but I have no idea how much was smaller? And I gave it to John. He never told me what was in it. I never asked who was none of my business. He actually did me a favor. I was very uncomfortable in the middle of a heroine situation, but I convinced myself the only thing it would
be is me getting a package occasionally and giving it to John. Mentally, I am saying to myself, I'm not in the drug business. Legally, I think the law would have a different idea of that. But at that point in my life, I didn't give a fuck what the law thought. I know what I thought. There was many many more meetings with them. I never brought another package. I believe it went through one of his brothers. The reason it did that, John said, are you uncomfortable with this
situation? What situation with Patsy Conny? I don't even know what you're talking about? John left, Are you made that you didn't get anything. I don't know what you're talking about. It never happened. Great, it never happened. Whatever you're talking about, it never happened. I did talk to the agents about it a little bit. I don't think I went in such detail. It wasn't important to them at that time as it is to you, guys, my family, you people who joined me on Patreon, you're
the people who ask me. It'll come out on YouTube, but it'll come out in different places. But I'm giving this to you as close to detail as I could possibly remember. Our relationship with Patchy Conty fell apart because of a situation somebody in his crew, a guy named Louis de Bono. He was killed by us, John Gotti, me and our family. That is a whole nother story that is going to be built into my podcast, So I'm not going to get into it. And for you guys who want to
hear the podcast. It's coming out Monday on Patreon. You'll get it on YouTube on Friday, but if you want to get it early, go to Patreon. If you're listening on YouTube, hit like and subscribe. And if you want to become part of the Gravano family, go on Patreon and you could hear this ad free audios. Motherfucker
