Episode description

Eight years ago, South Australia was losing about 20 young people, aged 16 – 19,  in road crashes every year, and about 900 were sustaining injuries. Today these numbers are significantly lower. The Metropolitan Fire Service’s Road Awareness Program has helped transformed the behaviour of young people on our roads. MFS Station Officer and program coordinator Rod Campbell, with guest presenter Kym Inglis, who lost his entire family in a road accident and Manager of Partnerships and Community Engagement at the Motor Accident Commission Matthew Hanton talk about this lifesaving program.
