Pokes Pod: Jacie Hoyt -- Year 2

When Jacie Hoyt took over as head coach of the Oklahoma State women’s basketball program last year, her impact was felt immediately. She led the Cowgirls to a 21-12 record while becoming the first coach to earn an NCAA Tournament berth in their first season at the helm. Making the tournament this season is now the expectation. Even with all the new faces in the locker room, Hoyt believes this is the most competitive team she’s ever coached. She keeps her team motivated by awarding hype points at practices and games. She’s even bringing a new twist this season—that will be revealed soon. Either way, hype remains the foundation of Cowgirl Basketball.
