Pokes Pod: 100 Years of Pistol Pete (Part 2)

Oklahoma State has dubbed 2023 the Year of the Cowboy to celebrate the legacy of Frank Eaton and Pistol Pete. In the 100 years since Eaton was discovered at the Armistice Day parade, there have been 96 students who have portrayed the Hall of Fame Cowboy. In this episode of the Pokes Pod, I continue my conversation with five past and present Pistol Pete’s—Rick Wilson, Scott Petty, Billy Sigman, Steven Vekony and Bryce Coon. They share more of their stories from their time under the head, the importance of the Pistol Pete brotherhood, and what they hope for the next 100 years.
